I’m excited to announce my candidacy for Albany County Sheriff in the 2026 elections. I firmly believe that leadership is the foundation of any organization, and leadership starts at the top. If elected, I vow to lead with character and integrity. I will hold myself and every member of the organization accountable. I will be approachable and will serve the people of Albany County with honor.
I have never run for political office but feel called to do so now. This is not about me – it is about us and the safety of our community.

Daron and his wife Misty are deeply connected to the Albany County community. Daron serves on the Board of Directors for the Laramie Police Department Foundation, and is a proud member of the Laramie Chamber Business Alliance and the Cowboy Joe Club.
